Ewing’s sarcoma of the right kidney with multiple metastasis on PET/CT

Abstract Background Ewing’s sarcoma is categorized as small round cell aggressive tumor which commonly occurs in bone and soft tissue. Primary renal an extremely rare entity accounts for less than 1% of masses. It characterized by a very course, with few reported cases the literature. indistinguishable from carcinoma on anatomical imaging therefore need histopathological correlation confirmation. The positron emission tomography (PET) fused computed (CT) helps evaluation disease, staging metastatic workup. Case presentation We present case 48-year-old lady who presented to urology department difficulty passing urine 5 months associated pain right flank region. She had episode haematuria back. Contrast enhanced CT showed large lobulated heterogeneously enhancing retroperitoneal mass fossa. Histopathological examination immunohistochemistry were suggestive sarcoma. PET/CT revealed FDG avid lymph nodal skeletal metastasis. Conclusions being tumour usually bone, liver lung metastasis along at time diagnosis. 18 F diagnosis, staging, appropriate treatment planning, restaging, response prognostication
